Intern - Clinical Research

Role Summary:

The Clinical Research Intern will learn about the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Research team, which supports patients' care path through clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

· Identify prospective patients that may benefit from participation in the clinical trials and meet study eligibility.

· Work with the Research Team to identify and document clinical trials.

· Interact with physicians (both internal and external) as well as key stakeholders within the clinical trial team to provide updates, as necessary.

· Assist in the collection of data and provide various reports on clinical trials.

· Assist in the set up of new trials and assist in the education of staff about trial implementation.

· Interview study participants both in-person and remotely.

· Assist with data processing, review, and analysis.

· Maintain data control systems.

· Perform special research/data projects as requested.

· Maintain research certifications as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· High school degree or equivalent.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

· Interest in clinical research and/or oncology.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in health or science fields.

· 1+ years' experience working in healthcare.
