Oregon Urology Institute has a Full-time, Medical Front Office Lead opportunity available.

The Medical Front Office Lead aids in the efficient operations and seamless coordination within our medical office, contributing to a high standard of patient care, ultimately enhancing the overall effectiveness and success of our office.
Job Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors.
- Check-in patients for appointments
- Verify and update necessary information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Receive payments from patients and issue receipts.
- Work closely with providers and nursing staff.
- Book, coordinate and reschedule patient appointments.
- Schedule laboratory testing and outpatient procedures and answers patient questions regarding their appointments and testing.
- Training new hires/training current team members on new policies/procedures
- Responsible for writing the weekly schedule for the front office team.
- Reconciliation for all Front Desk with the Business Office each day
- Designating team member reassignments due to call insurance
- Attend interview with Manager for new team members
- Serve as back-up for Satellite clinic/driver when necessary
Position requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office.
- Working knowledge of healthcare insurance.
- In-depth knowledge of medical office operations, EHR systems, and compliance regulations.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must maintain patient and practice confidentiality.
- Must be able to create and maintain positive cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, providers, and staff.
- Excellent patient service skills
- Must demonstrate a team-oriented work ethic.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, effectively and professionally interact with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and manage competing priorities.
